Gold of Spirit - Sounds of the Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Giza is truly a one of a kind structure. I often say that it is a star brought down to earth, hidden in masonry. Occasionally after we chant in there we can hear our melodies being „played back” to us for about 20 minutes. We are not sure what causes this effect. Maybe it is something supernatural. Although its acoustic properties are praised by many. John Anthony West explained once how you can hear people chanting in the King's Chamber perfectly clear in other parts of the pyramid, even way, way down in the Unfinished Chamber. So maybe what we hear after our chantings is simply an amazing example of the degree of perfection with which this temple of enlightenment was built. It might have been designed to resonate to certain harmonies. I am not an engineer, so what do I know? It might also be an effect of the hightened state of consciousness we experience everytime we visit the Great Pyramid.

The distracting noises you here during the chanting are due to the sometimes very annoying pyramid guards who just couldn't leave us alone because according to them their bosses don't like it when people chant in there since it makes some tourists affraid as they're making their way up the Ascending Passage and the Grand Gallery. We decided to continue with it anyway and used a cheap and simple but easily conceable instrument to record ourselves.
